Generations United hosted this webinar in celebration of Global Intergenerational Week on April 30, 2025. We heard from Savannah Fishel, who shared findings from her Churchill Fellowship research on intergenerational co-housing in the United States and Australia. Having visited over 50 intergenerational communal housing models—including ecovillages, tiny home villages, and cohousing communities—she shared powerful case studies, key insights into the lived experiences of communal living, and practical takeaways on what makes these models work.
