Founded in 1986, West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC) builds and manages affordable housing integrated with on-site resident services to help low-income residents stabilize their housing, address any barriers to independent living, and acquire the skills and tools they need, including improved physical and mental health, for lives of greater self-sufficiency. The InterGen Program is part of WHCHC’s comprehensive resident services, aimed at convening seniors, adults, and children/youth in evidence-informed activities that reduce isolation, increase empathy and understanding, and facilitate communications among all generations. These activities result in greater resilience, improved mental health, and enhanced well-being for all program participants.
