The Center for Health and Aging Innovation (CHAI)

The Center for Health and Aging Innovation at New York University Silver School of Social Work is a Generations United Program of Distinction located in New York, New York.

The Center for Health and Aging Innovation (CHAI) aims to maximize the promise of intergenerational cohesion and relationships for the advancement of society. As one of the leading institutions on productive aging, equity, and social policy, their scholarship and research helps inform policy, advocacy, and programs that optimize health, economic security, and strong social bonds in a diversifying society. In 2023, CHAI launched the Healthy Aging Specialization at the NYU Silver School of Social Work to build a strong cadre of social work scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to increase opportunities for health and longevity for individuals and society.
