The Sharing Teens and Elders Project (STEP) is an intergenerational program where teenagers and elders gather to talk and listen, and to learn about our similarities and differences. They strive to bridge age barriers, to increase mental well-being, to promote tolerance, and to help permanently change today’s social concept of aging to a vibrant future of peace and understanding. STEP promotes sharing ideas that affect all ages. STEP inspires happiness, belonging, security, wisdom, and the realization that disparate age groups can have genuine fun together. STEP turns the tide towards the world we strive for through the art of communication, no matter what age.
