The Plaza West Grandfamilies Program offers housing and support for 50 Grandfamilies. The program provides support for community, educational, health and welfare resources. It offers a wide range of on-site programs designed to nurture the healthy development of youth, and helps grandparents meet the challenge of parenting the next generation. Maximizing use of onsite space, for programming, recreation and learning. These services promote healthy grandfamily bonding, housing stabilization, peer-to-peer support, and resources for success in school, work, and the community. Programming includes physical and mental health initiatives, academic support, financial literacy, and access to food and clothing. Finally, the program continues outreach, fostering partnerships with agencies and community resources.
