Juntos: Sharing Our Stories is a photovoice intergenerational program that takes place during our 8-week summer programming in June and July. The heart of the program is twofold: equipping middle school aged students with valuable interpersonal skills while providing older adults (55+) with a platform to combat loneliness through digital literacy and digital photography. Both groups participate in leadership development training, digital literacy, and digital photography courses enabling them to explore the world of photography through hands-on sessions. Through the lens of a camera, participants share a common language that transcends age.
