Joint Family

Joint Family is a fiscally sponsored social venture that brings people of different generations together to understand and respond to the social impacts of emerging technologies. In light of recent advances in generative AI (GenAI) and it’s potential to deepen existing inequities, Joint Family creates inclusive, accessible spaces where individuals from different ages and backgrounds can engage meaningfully & build AI literacy. Our programs connect younger and older participants with one another and with experts, offering a unique environment to engage directly with their community, explore the real-world risks and opportunities GenAI presents, exchange perspectives, and consider how these technologies are reshaping daily life, whether or not they are actively using them.
