Herralink bridges the gap between generations to connect high school students with seniors in retirement homes to reduce senior loneliness and improve well-being. Herralink currently partnerships with 13 senior homes, connecting over 400 students with nearly 1,300 seniors in Northern Virginia. Students participate in structured activities like pen pal exchanges, arts, bingo, STEM projects, games, and reading. Herralink’s 1:1 program further supports individualized connections by matching students with seniors based on personality assessments curated by CNA nurses. Through these programs, Herralink envisions a community where seniors feel valued, seen, and heard.
