The City of Albuquerque’s Foster Grandparent Program volunteers assist with tutoring children, providing reading and/or math support, mentorship, and intergenerational opportunities in schools, Head Start, pre-k’s, and recreation programs. Our primary focus area of this project is education. The volunteers serve 110 unduplicated children with exceptional needs and disadvantaged youth.
