Fair Lawn’s Youth Volunteer Corps looks to empower students by providing them with opportunities to help our older adult residents, veterans and mobility-challenged individuals with basic maintenance needs. Providing an invaluable service while learning the power of giving back is the primary focus of this program. We build awareness and educate the students about the needs of their senior neighbors and friends by sending them out into the community to assist and interact with someone in need. We confirm community service hours and provide graduating seniors with an opportunity to apply for one of three scholarships.
