Maya Joshi

Maya Joshi is the Founder and Executive Director of Lifting Hearts with the Arts, a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects younger and older adults through creative programming to bridge generational divides. Started in 2020, Lifting Hearts has facilitated over 7,000 activities with more than 50 community partners across the country. Maya is currently an undergraduate student at Princeton University studying anthropology, bioengineering, and global health & health policy. She is deeply engaged in research, from qualitative analysis of menopausal experiences to developing tissue engineering solutions for bone regeneration. Her work is driven by a commitment to understanding aging across biological, social, and structural dimensions, with a focus on intergenerational connection-building.
