Hannah Silver

Hebrew SeniorLife

Hannah Silver serves as the Volunteer and Family Engagement Coordinator for Hebrew SeniorLife’s (HSL) Volunteer, Youth, and Community Engagement. In her role, she crafts, facilitates, and directs intergenerational programming at HSL’s Center Communities of Brookline and NewBridge on the Charles locations.

Growing up in a family of educators, teaching felt like the natural path for much of her life. Although, after two of her grandparents got diagnosed with dementia, she quickly became all too familiar with the senior care system. Once these two pieces of her life collided, intergenerational programming found her. After moving from her Midwest roots to complete her Master of Education at Boston University, she joined the HSL team where she now has the privilege of leading intergenerational programming every day. In this role, she has quickly fallen in love with the magic of intergenerational relationships.

Hannah holds a Master of Education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She has also had the honor of presenting at the Generations United Conference and Future of Aging Summit to discuss the power of intergenerational friendships.
