Caleb Bailey is a Hispanic, neurodivergent guitarist, music educator, and arts in health professional from San Antonio, Texas. He believes music is meant to be shared, and his lifelong mission is to bring music to people who may not otherwise have access to it in ways that are approachable, meaningful, and healing.
As an arts in health professional, Caleb served two years as Musician in Residence at North Oaks Retirement Community in Baltimore, where he performed regularly in independent and assisted living settings, hosted public practice sessions, and taught classes. He also performed at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he supported patients, visitors, and staff while enhancing the environment of care through live music.
Caleb currently serves as Artist in Residence Coordinator at Mirabella at ASU, where he leads a cohort of doctoral students in best practices for arts in health engagement with residents. As part of his dissertation he is launching Generations in Harmony, a nonprofit that connects university music programs with retirement communities to create artist in residence opportunities, expand access to higher education, and address the loneliness epidemic through intergenerational connection.
