WovenLife’s mission is to empower children and adults of all ages and abilities to find hope and independence through compassionate care, education, and support. WovenLife has an on-site Child Development Program for children ages birth through five-years, an Adult Day Center, and speech and occupational therapy. All programs are offered to those living with and without a disability. In our inter-generational program, our children and adults participate in daily activities like art lessons, play time, story time with the community library, picnics in the park, holiday celebrations, and so much more.

The intergenerational approach to learning benefits both children and The Commons residents alike. The program integrates reading activities, music and student celebrations. The program provides a unique atmosphere for learning, caring and cooperation. The program is a collaborative effort between the United Methodist Home of Enid, The Enid Public School System EPS and CDSA/Smart Start Northwest Oklahoma.

Greenbrier Village is one of two intergenerational school sites through the Enid School District. A full-day program for four-year-olds is run at Greenbrier Village. In the intergenerational programs, residents of the centers volunteer in the classroom and serve as “grandma” and “grandpa” buddies for the children providing small group and one-on-one attention.

Since 2003, the OSU Alumni Association has welcomed OSU legacies, ages 7 to 13 and their grandparents to campus for a unique intergenerational learning experience at Grandparent University. This three-day summer camp is a fun-filled experience that actively engages kids in academics at OSU while creating memories for grandparents and their grandchildren.

At Grace Living Centers, elders can mingle with children, many of whom come to Grace for tutoring after school, or, as in the case of Grace - Jenks, have Pre-K and Kindergarten classes at the center.
