  1. Linden School at Elyria Wesleyan Village
    Linden School provides care for infants, toddlers, preschool children, before and after school care and summer camp through age 13. Linden School is located on the campus of the Elyria Wesleyen Village, a retirement center.  Throughout the day the senior residents, or "Grandfriends" as the children call them, visit with the children and participate in classroom activities.  This unique setting allows for the children and seniors to form lasting relationships.  All classroom staff are certified guides through Macklin Intergenerational Institute. The children visit with the residents, do arts and crafts projects, read together, play games and enjoy each other's company

  2. St. Francis Home/Angel Academy Day Care
    Angel Academy Day Care is a child day care program operated by St. Francis Senior Ministries Day Care, Inc. is located at St. Francis Home.   3. The Learning Circle at Jennings Center for Older Adults
    The Learning Circle at Jennings Center for Older Adults is an enriching infant and child care program. The most unique aspect of The Learning Circle is our intergenerational program. We encourage the learning opportunities between seniors and younger generations from preschoolers to teens, which foster learning and mentoring relationships that greatly impact the lives of both generations.   4. Birchaven Retirement Village
    At Marilyn’s Lifelong Educational Center (MLLEC) children learn through hands on explorations, daily interactions and guidance within a natural family-like environment. Planned hands on explorations are implemented by our teachers and designed to help children learn life skills and gain an academic advantage. Interactions are either planned or qualify as friendly visits with our elder friends throughout Birchaven Retirement Village.

  7. Generations Intergenerational Day Care (Heritage Day Health Center)
    The senior center run through Heritage Day is in the same site as a childcare center run through the YMCA. The children and older adults interact on a daily basis.
