  1. Perfect Pair
Perfect Pair aims to foster one-on-one, intergenerational connections between older adults and college students. We strive to combat loneliness and social isolation, and improve overall wellbeing by fostering a sense of community and purpose for our pairs. Pair connections are personalized, taking participants’ background, culture, and interests into account. We support weekly meetings of pairs, and encourage them to re-engage with their passions by offering programming such as painting, language learning, photography, and more. Program participants also attend community events with groups of younger and older adults in their Perfect Pair chapter.

  6. Bethlehem Intergenerational Center
At BIC we believe in the individuality of every person. We believe in nurturing the unique gifts of all. We believe in providing a program that meets the individual needs of every person we serve to the best of our ability. BIC believes in providing a sense of safety, security and order, physical comfort, enjoyment, meaningful activity, relationships, functional competence, dignity, privacy, individuality, autonomy and choice, and spiritual well-being for our friends. Our elder friends always have the choice about whether they participate. Participation and relationship building are highly encouraged. BIC believes in providing children the opportunity to make choices about what, how and with whom they want to play. This approach enables children to initiate and direct their own play with the support of interested and responsive adults. We believe that children learn through play, children construct their own knowledge from their experiences and interactions with the world around them. Teachers foster children's growth and development by building on children's interests, needs and strengths within a safe and caring environment. An intergenerational session ensures that a child can choose from a variety of activities. The teachers need to support the child in their choice and encourage their interactions. 7. Bridging Communities
Linking Intergenerational Neighbors Who Care (LINC) engages youth of the Chadsey/Condon neighborhood to “link” elders in their neighborhood to services and resources that meet the elders‘ needs. The mission of the LINC Project is to provide a safe environment where people can age in dignity, while local young people are exposed to possible job fields, career opportunities, and the transferable skills needed to build a positive future for themselves and their communities.  Most importantly, LINC creates a sustainable community that thrives off of the energy and wisdom of all its members.
