At the annual Easter Seals Cruise for Kids, where boat owners and other senior volunteers provide a day of fun and therapeutic recreations for children with disabilities, a senior volunteer helps a child reach the upper deck.

The Math Magicians are an intergenerational group of actors working in partnership between RSVP - Worcester Area Volunteers and the Learn and Serve program at South High School.  The Math Magicians do a 45 minute performance piece for the first graders in the Worcester elementary schools, emphasizing that math in important and fun.

"We have the dirt and the plant, but my hands are stuck in the flower pot.  Maybe I should have only put in one hand at a time," says Lillian to her on-looking helpers, Devon and Alisha.  "Now I know why I don't have my own gardening show."
