Wendy Heiges

As Public Policy Manager, Wendy works with the policy team to manage policy initiatives for Generations United. Her responsibilities include developing relationships with key policymakers and policy networks, working with GU's Public Policy Committee, and representing GU at conferences and meetings. She also maintains the policy web page and listserv and assists in fundraising, conferences, and other events. Before coming to GU, Wendy worked at the American Red Cross for nine years, beginning at the local chapter in Honolulu, Hawaii and then its national headquarters in Washington, DC.

Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.
