Generations United's Seniors4Kids is a civic engagement initiative that bridges the generations by raising the visibility of older adults in support of high quality early care and education. Seniors4Kids is designed to increase public and political will by engaging older adult voters in active support of state initiatives. We facilitate the involvement of adults age 50+ in creating statewide networks of community leaders and grassroots volunteers with the common goal of promoting quality early education. Through Seniors4Kids, Generations United provides training and technical assistance for organizations seeking to develop programs that connect older adults with young children, while providing older adult volunteers a means to expand their efforts on behalf of children through grassroots advocacy. Seniors4Kids is currently active in Florida, Kentucky, New York, and Ohio.
