Temple University’s Center for Intergenerational Learning, with support from the HRC Foundation, is developing a national training and technical assistance network. The goal of the network is to build the capacity of institutions and non- profit organizations to:
1) infuse intergenerational approaches into their services and programs, and
2) engage significant numbers of older volunteers in meaningful volunteer roles.
Training requests are coordinated by the Center. ITEN consultants are “deployed” based on both geographical proximity to a site and area of expertise.
