Help Grandfamilies Win in September!
We still need your support now! Despite strong advocacy from the field and leadership from the Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch, Ranking Member Ron Wyden and their staff, the Senate adjourned early for summer recess yesterday without passing the Family First Prevention Services Act, which helps grandfamilies by:
  • providing federal funding for prevention services for grandfamilies
  • supporting kinship navigator programs
  • addressing barriers to licensing relatives
The good news is that the Senate remains strongly committed to passing the bill when they return in September. Please note the statement released last week from Senator Wyden, urging passage of the legislation.

Help us continue to give grandfamilies a voice on Capitol Hill.
